1976 - 1986
- Assessment Designs, Inc. (ADI) founded by AlignMark executive
team. ADI becomes a nationally recognized firm in design
and implementation of customized assessment center programs
and creates one of the first behaviorally based interview
programs.
- Creation and introduction of first commercially marketed
performance management program (Managing Human Performance).
- Creation and introduction of first objectively scored
video-based job simulation assessment for hiring sales personnel.
1987 - 1996
- Executive team creates Electronic Selection Systems,
Inc. (ESS) a company which focuses on creation and marketing
of video-based, computer-scored job simulation techniques.
ESS also expands into technology-delivered recruiting and
pre-screening tools.
- More than 1,000,000 individuals assessed using the company’s
tools.
- AccuTel, a telephony-based sourcing and prescreening
process, is created and introduced and is subsequently used
to source and screen 750,000 job applicants for Fortune
1000 companies.
1997 - 2000
- ESS re-brands as AlignMark to better communicate its integrated
offering of Recruiting-Hiring-Learning-Certification-Performance
Management solutions to the broader marketplace.
- More than 2,000,000 individuals assessed using the company’s
tools.
- Appointment to US Congressional Internet Caucus.
- Web-based Leadership development program developed in
conjunction with one of the world’s leading corporate
universities.
- Web-based performance management system (PMP) created
and introduced.
- Redesign and migration of offerings from software solutions
to Web-delivered solutions.
2001 - 2006
- LifeHub, a desktop learning tool, is introduced and used
to develop both professional and personal skills of more
than 250,000 job incumbents.
- AlignMark introduces an animated online simulation used
to select call center applicants within the financial industry.
- Expansion beyond Fortune 1000 marketplace with deployment
of integrated recruitment, pre-screening and applicant tracking
platform for Real Estate professionals.
- More than 3,000,000 individuals assessed using the company’s
tools.
