AlignMark's AccuVision ® Systems
is a unique family of assessment tools which combines job
simulation, video, and computer technologies to evaluate the
skills and abilities required for success in specific job
positions. For more than 15 years, organizations across all
industries have used AccuVision to achieve greater accuracy
in hiring and promotional decisions.
AccuVision’s Benefits
- Better hiring decisions –AccuVision predicts job
performance four to five times better than a typical interview
- Developmental direction –AccuVision results identify
the skills in which applicants need development, which you
can use from Day 1 to tailor coaching and developmental
needs of new hires
- Reduced employee turnover – identify candidates
with a higher probability of success for that particular
position, thus a lower turnover rate
- Streamlined selection process – AccuVision can be
used to screen out applicants with a low probability of
success, so you spend more face-to-face time with higher
caliber applicants
- Ease of administration – AccuVision is easily administered,
whether for a single applicant or a large group. AccuVision
assessments can also be delivered via the Internet, which
makes them equally effective for centralized or decentralized
administrative settings.
- AccuVision is fully compliant with ADA and EEO requirements
- More effective recruiting – with AccuVision, you
can identify trends in the performance of applicants on
the assessment and adjust recruiting efforts accordingly
How does AccuVision work?
Each assessment is comprised of video simulations depicting
job-relevant situations. At a critical point in each
situation, the participant is asked to choose one of four
behavioral options corresponding to what he or she considers
to be the most effective course of action, and which option
would be the least effective course of action.
Subsequently, results are computer-scored using a standardized
scoring formula, and feedback is generated that describes
the participant’s performance on a variety of skills.
The assessment results include:
- A Feedback Report indicating the participant’s overall
probability of success in that particular job;
- Areas of strengths and weaknesses on important job skills;
- Performance Development Strategies for those skills that
show a need for development;
- An interview guide, uniquely created depending on how
the participant responded on the assessment.
