Dr. Cabot Jaffee, President and CEO

Dr. Jaffee (M.A., Ph.D.) With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Jaffee is a recognized expert in the field of assessments, and has created valid HR Solutions used by millions of people. His core areas of expertise include candidate sourcing, interview and assessment design/validation, job simulation, and employee development. He has also served as a legal expert for the state and federal court systems and the federal government.

Dr. Jaffee is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Association of Test Publishers and the American Society for Training and Development. He has been appointed to the Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee.

Dr. Cabot Jaffee, Sr., Chairman
Dr. Jaffee Sr. (Ph.D) has over 35 years of experience with human resources in large corporations, publishing, partnering, direct sales, and the development of personnel assessment and training tools.

As a recognized expert in the field of psychology, Dr. Jaffee Sr. has served on the executive committees of several publishing companies. He has published eight books and over 100 articles. Dr. Jaffee is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Society of Training Directors, and has been nominated for the Training Hall of Fame.

Michael Struth, Senior VP, Operation
Mr. Struth manages AlignMark’s Consulting Services and Product Development areas. He has over 30 years of experience designing and implementing organizational effectiveness programs and has worked with clients from virtually all industries at a broad range of organizational levels.

Mr. Struth has published a number of professional articles in the area of HR, and is the co-author of “The Art of Managing: How to Assess & Perfect Your Management Style.”

Laura Blackmore, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Blackmore is responsible for directing AlignMark’s overall financial functions, including all aspects of the corporation’s financial strategies, processes and operations. Ms. Blackmore has over 20 years of experience in the various senior financial functions. Ms. Blackmore began her career with Deloitte & Touche and has worked in many industries, with a heavy focus on publishing and human resources.


Jeffery Shen, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Shen is the Chief Technology Officer of AlignMark and as such is responsible for overseeing technology and R&D. Mr. Shen has extensive experience in complex software development, designing and managing enterprise software that delivers tangible customer results. Mr. Shen’s experience includes innovate work with online recruitment, online assessment, e-learning, and Rich Internet Application technologies. Mr. Shen continues to be on the leading edge of applying new technologies to HR processes and procedures.
